Burned-out ex-cop Jericho Cane (Arnold Schwarzenegger) is suddenly tasked with saving the world when Satan takes over the body of a Wall Street banker (Gabriel Byrne) in a bid to mate with an innocent woman (Robin Tunney) before the millennium's end, thus setting off Armageddon.
